Utah Festival Opera’s prize-winning new program has opened the world of creative expression to thousands of children, enhancing their learning, behavior, confidence, social skills, and well-being.

Michael Ballam, Founder and General Director of Utah Festival Opera, and co-creator of Opera for Children by Children, walks you through the process of children writing a libretto, composing music, designing sets and costumes, and performing their own original works.
