About the Artist:

Michael Ballam has garnered critical acclaim with major opera companies of the United States and a recital career in the most important concert halls on four continents. An accomplished pianist, he is the Founder and General Director of the Utah Festival Opera, one of the nation's major opera festivals. A professor of music at Utah State University, he is the author of over 60 publications and recordings in international distribution, has starred in a number of major motion pictures, is head in syndication on National Public Radio, and serves on the Board of Directors of 11 professional arts organizations.
